Location – New York, NY (Hybrid)
Position is responsible for the strategic oversight as well as the day-to-day operations and management of Consumer Marketing/circulation needs of PWX Solutions clients. Successful candidate will work hands-on with clients to understand, anticipate and lead their consumer marketing. Must be highly collaborative and comfortable working in a client-facing role within a matrixed organization. The role also requires the candidate to be hands-on in all facets of consumer marketing when needed to get the job done for their client, as well effectively communicate with senior-level client contacts.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute consumer marketing and circulation plans across all sources on behalf of PWX Solutions clients with the goal of maximizing ROI.
- Client retention and satisfaction.
- Manage client P&L and circulation levels to established profitability goals considering NPNS, COA, LTV, or other metrics as determined with clients.
- Prepare, present, and manage budget, marketing plans/calendars
- Hold regular client status/progress meetings as needed in addition to monthly and/or weekly KPI dashboards and reporting. Interpret data and write monthly and/or weekly report to explain key metrics and variances. Act on findings to optimize future results.
- Advocate for clients working with PWX Solutions subject matter experts to ensure seamless delivery of services in the most efficient manner possible.
- Interface seamlessly with client organizations as required to understand and anticipate clients’ business needs and goals.
- Advise and assist clients as necessary to transition business from traditional print to digital.
- Assist with client acquisition and business development as required.
- Stay on top of circulation audit bureau and periodicals/postal regulations, as well as latest privacy laws and auto renewal regulations, and communicate key information in these areas to clients.
- Stay abreast of fulfillment updates to take advantage of new developments. Oversee any evaluations or conversions of fulfillment companies for print and digital products.
- Gather information on client’s competitive set and best practices and share with client
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of consumer/circulation marketing economics, and direct marketing/retention best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital consumer marketing
- Ability to interface at all levels of client organizations
- Successful candidate must be able to multitask and work across a number of clients and internal PWX teams.
- Curiosity about AI and how to incorporate it into the role for improved efficiency is a plus.
